Calling all innovative learning spaces – Submit your papers by July 15th!

I would like to draw your attention to the Call for Papers for an upcoming Special Issue of the Journal of Innovation in Polytechnic Education (JIPE), on “Innovative Learning Spaces.

To truly support formal and informal learning that it is ubiquitous, educators need to reimagine the ways in which students engage with the curriculum. In this issue, we will feature the latest in innovative learning space design, including non-physical learning spaces, such as virtual, simulated, and online learning environments. Papers may take the form of empirical studies or literature reviews. To be considered for publication in the special issue, please submit your paper by July 15, 2018.

JIPE is an online, open-access journal devoted to publishing peer-reviewed papers that investigate and expand teaching and learning within the polytechnic educational context. JIPE especially encourages contributions exploring the impact of innovative teaching and learning practices that push the boundaries of traditional approaches to learning or educational delivery. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, brief reports, and “Innovation Spotlights”, and welcomes submissions from scholars across the polytechnic and college sector, both within and outside of Canada. Submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Please feel free to share widely, and don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or feedback.

Many thanks,

Eileen De Courcy & Heidi Marsh, Editors
