Technology includes a video/data projector, built-in Windows and Mac computers, VGA and HDMI laptop connectivity, a Blu-ray player and document camera.

For example, you could have the Document Camera on the middle screen, with Powerpoint slides on the outer two screens. The Smart Classroom podium is equipped with both Mac and Windows computers (standardized with SDSU site-licensed software). The document camera helps faculty to reach a larger audience without visually diminishing the content (as sometimes happens when using whiteboards).

Mert Michael Classroom

Within the remodeled College of Education, multiple labs and learning halls have outfitted VZ-C6 Ceiling Visualizers and Cynap Collaboration Solutions to optimize their courses and collaborative learning sessions. With the combined integration of Visualizers and Cynaps into their existing setups, many of these rooms have been revamped into open, collaborative learning spaces. One of these locations, the Mert Michael Classroom, contains round tables that can easily split into sections for breakout groups.
