Leatherby Center

The Ralph W. Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics main classroom is in a modernized wooden former agricultural building. The room has high ceilings and abundant natural light. The room can be expanded with two garage doors that can be raised to expand the classroom into the main building area. We selected a high-quality webcam with a 15' cable on a portable stand that can be pointed in any direction within the room for hyflex teaching.

Life Science Department

University of Westminster in London addresses the problem of how to teach laboratory classes during the current Covid-19 pandemic using Cynap systems to create synchronous hybrid learning environments in its Life Sciences Department. To facilitate in-person teaching where it is available, Cynap’s streaming capability is used to live stream lesson content easily between different laboratories allowing students to safely occupy multiple labs, facilitating proper social distancing.  

Physical Sciences

This large capacity active learning classroom (Occupancy 146; COVID Occupancy 55) is designed to foster effective teaching and to support initiatives on campus that encourage collaboration, pedagogical innovation, and the use of technology to improve student learning outcomes.

Music

The general assignment Smart Classroom system accommodates a wide variety of teaching pedagogies. Music 206 is unique in that it features additional considerations to allow for an enhanced audio experience. These features include acoustic wall panelling, sound dampening high NRC ceiling tiles and carpet tiles. Technology upgrades include premium full range ceiling speakers as well as a ceiling subwoofer. Through the convenient Extron interface, faculty can choose between connecting their own technology or simply using one of the many technologies provided.

Innovation Hall

Indiana University's new Collaboration Theater combines inspiration from historical amphitheater design and modern creative-space design. This innovative space, designed to promote learning, collaboration, and flexibility, opens for instruction during the spring 2021 semester. Configured to adapt to emerging technology, the Collaboration Theater is wrapped with two curved Direct View LED Video Walls. Each wall is 22 feet wide by 6 feet tall; with 3.6 million pixels on each wall, every seat in the room is a good seat.

Virtual Classroom

The University of Glasgow is a public research university in Glasgow, Scotland. Founded in 1451, it is the fourth-oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of Scotland‘s four ancient universities. The University Library is one of the oldest and largest libraries in Europe, with more than 3 million books and journals.

Kennedy Hall

Chapman University is a private urban university in Southern California. The Orange campus is completely within the city of Orange and a includes several buildings recorded in the National Register of Historic Places. Donald P. Kennedy Hall of the Dale E. Fowler School of Law has a decorative entrance built in 1914 which was modeled on a 4th Century Northern Italian Church. Kennedy Hall was built to incorporate this original façade and is itself is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The Wylie A.

Bijlhouwerstraat

The hybrid active learning classroom is the result of a successful story of several teachers within Utrecht university who encountered the limitation of the traditional classrooms with rows of seats and the lecturer standing in front when using blended learning as an educational concept. Because they experienced this limitation in their face-2-face moments with the students they finally asked for flexible spaces to experiment with and do research into new educational content and methods.

Kidder Hall

The UIT-Academic Technology Faculty Media Center (FMC) at Oregon State University is a DIY media learning facility offering educational opportunities, instructional media consulting resources and easy-to-use, "one-touch" recording spaces that empower OSU faculty & staff to create their own teaching, training, research, and promotional content. The FMC technology was designed and built around Oregon State's centrally-supported enterprise classroom standard, leveraging Crestron control consoles and lecture capture appliances.
