These exciting new classrooms were designed for student engagement and collaboration and are based on the feedback and research of Rutgers faculty and the Digital Classroom Services team. The goal of this collaboration-based learning is to get students to engage with material, test their knowledge of concepts, critically work through problems, develop their ability to constructively dialogue and work with others in groups.

Traditional classroom layout used as a lecture space and interactive with computers/tables in rows, facing forward to an instructor station. The space will be used for the Multi-Disciplinary Computer Lab for Virtual Histology as a testing facility. A raised floor for power and cable pathways will be utilized for tables with laptop computers at student stations, and materials will be viewed on a local 4K monitor. A PTZ camera will be used for lecture capture as well as image magnification.

The classroom features individual seating, providing high-mobility, allowing students to easily reconfigure their seating arrangement to suit collaborative or independent study needs. Tables are arranged in clusters for groups of six, fostering small-group discussions and teamwork.

Room 308 in the Wegmans School of Nursing at St. John Fisher University is a highly adaptable learning space designed for collaborative and immersive activities.
The room features flexible rectangular tables that can seat up to six students within a group setting, with rolling chairs that support easy rearrangement for individual study. Mobile whiteboards enhance group discussions and brainstorming sessions, allowing ideas to be shared and moved around the room.

A modern science lab with a clean and spacious layout. The lighting is bright, giving the room a professional and welcoming atmosphere suitable for both hands-on lab work and group discussions.
The room is divided into two main areas:
Laboratory Workstations: there are multiple large lab benches, equipped with linear air tracks and measurement equipment, for physics experiments.
